As a time when the competitiveness of medical research is a major issue, F-CRIN is expanding its national digital platform for information on clinical research training: the Training Course Advisor.
Unique in France, this platform, which offers a complete overview of training courses in this field, is aimed at students and clinical research professionals wishing to acquire or update their skills, as well as trainers, faculties and training organisations wishing to be listed, and patients and volunteers.
The training courses are categorised into ten main areas: administrative and financial aspects, good clinical practice, national or international regulatory procedures, medical devices, health technologies (imaging techniques, etc.), management of clinical data and biological samples, general or disease-specific clinical investigation, quality management, risk management, methodology, pharmacy, the specific nature of multinational projects, and the development of research

The search engine is practical, as ergonomics and ease of use were the development priorities for this new version. It also allows users to select training courses according to their language (English/French), or their format (initial or continuing education, face-to-face or distance learning) and interactive maps to locate them on the territory or internationally.
More than a simple training catalogue, the TCA offers participants the possibility of evaluating online the sessions they have attended, which constitutes a qualitative indicator. As a genuine platform for exchanging training supply and demand, participants can formalise their needs, particularly in the event that they do not find suitable training.
